Australian Scout Uniform

The Scouts Australia uniform is a dark blue shirt with the a section colour across the sleeves, yoke and collar.

Yellow for Cub Scouts Cub Scouts badge placement
Green for Scouts Scouts badge placement
Maroon for Venturer Scouts Venturer Scouts badge placement
Red for Rovers Rovers badge placement


A blue webbing style belt is worn with the uniform, along with a scarf and woggle.
All members of the Mackay City Central Scout Group wear a maroon scarf.

All members are required to wear neat attire of their choice below the waist, with acceptable colours being:

    Black
    Navy Blue
    Grey
    Fawn

Closed in shoes (not thongs or sandals) must be worn for all scouting activities.

Events Requiring "Full Uniform"

On special occasions, all members of the group are required to wear "Full Uniform".
This includes:

  • Correct uniform shirt, scarf and Queensland woggle;

  • Black/Navy Blue/Grey/Fawn shorts or pants; and

  • Enclosed shoes
