The Group Committee is a body of lay people, parents and members of the local community, who raise the necessary funds to run the Group and to support the Leaders in their work.
The Group Executive is appointed by the Group Leader to administrate this process.

The long-range objective of the Group Committee is the provision and maintenance of the Scout Den.
Group Committees raise money only by those methods that conform with the policy of the Scout Association.
The Group Committee usually small in number operates under a set of rules available from the Group Leader.
