Mackay City Central Scout Group - Group Support Committee

The Group Support Committee is the body of lay people, parents and members of the local community, who raise the necessary funds to run the Group and to support the Leaders in their work.
The Group Support Committee Executive is appointed by the Group Leader to administrate this process.

The long-range objective of the Group Support Committee is the provision and maintenance of the Scout Den.
Group Support Committees raise money only by those methods that conform with the policy of the Scout Association.
The Group Support Committee usually small in number operates under a set of rules available from the Group Leader.
